Minister Shantel Barnes is a devoted servant of God, dedicated to advancing His Kingdom through ministry, education, and community service. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, she met and married her husband, Minister Colin Barnes, with whom she has shared 38 years of marriage. Together, they have been blessed with three sons, one daughter, and nine cherished grandchildren.

A passionate advocate for children and early childhood development, Minister Shantel earned her credentials in Early Childhood Education and Development. She is the owner and operator of Blessed Little Stars Childcare Learning Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where she has faithfully invested in the academic, social, and spiritual development of young children and their families.

Since joining Beaver Ruin Road Baptist Church in 2022, Minister Shantel has demonstrated unwavering faithfulness and a servant's heart. She is recognized as a dedicated Prayer Warrior and has faithfully served in several ministries, including the Praise & Worship Team, Missions Ministry, and Fellowship Ministry. Today, she serves as the Director of Children's Ministry, where she is committed to nurturing children in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ while partnering with families to build a strong biblical foundation for the next generation.
