Reaching at Beaver Ruin Road Baptist Church means extending the love and message of Jesus Christ beyond the walls of our church and into our community and the world. We are called to share the Gospel, introduce others to Jesus Christ, and demonstrate His love through our words, actions, and service.
Our commitment to reaching others is rooted in the Great Commission. Jesus commands us in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” We believe this calling belongs to the entire body of Christ. Wherever God places us, we have an opportunity to share our faith and help others discover a relationship with Jesus Christ.
At BRRBC, reaching also means meeting people where they are. Through Prison Ministry, we reach beyond physical barriers to encourage and strengthen our brothers and sisters through prayer, supplication, the Word of God, and spiritual support. Through our sports, social, and community outreach programs, we seek to minister to the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of those around us.
We are a Matthew 25 Church—Serving Christ by Serving Others. We believe that when we feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, care for those in need, visit the sick and imprisoned, and serve with compassion, we demonstrate the love of Christ in meaningful and tangible ways. Our outreach is not simply about what we say; it is about allowing others to experience Christ through how we love and serve.
Reaching also includes developing disciples who will reach others. Jesus sent His followers into the world to share the Gospel and prepare others to continue the work of ministry. Second Timothy 2:2 teaches us to entrust what we have learned to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well.
At BRRBC, our mission is to reach people with the Gospel, serve people with the love of Christ, and develop disciples who will reach and serve others. Through evangelism, prayer, ministry, outreach, and service, we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus—taking His love beyond our church walls and into our community and the world.
